Student Safety Assistance Scheme

  • Facilitate compensation through the Karnataka State Students Welfare Fund for students affected by accidents or natural calamities.
  • Provide support to the families of students who are victims of accidents or natural disasters, ensuring that they are not financially burdened during difficult times.

National Talent Scholarship (NTS)

  • Award a scholarship of 5,000 annually for two years to students who pass the State Level NTS examination.
  • Encourage national-level academic excellence and provide additional financial support to exceptional students.

Bravery Recognition Program

  • Award 10,000 to students who demonstrate exceptional courage in protecting public lives and property.
  • Recognize and support brave students who show extraordinary courage in difficult situations.

Student Medical Assistance

  • Provide financial assistance of up to 1,00,000 to students who require medical treatment for severe illnesses.
  • Ensure that students are supported during times of medical need, allowing them to focus on their studies without the burden of financial stress.

Financial Support for Students

  • Provide tuition and examination fee assistance to economically disadvantaged students to ensure they can continue their studies without financial hindrance.

Merit Scholarship Program

  • Offer scholarships to district-level top scorers who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements, further promoting academic success and fostering a competitive learning environment.

Institutional Excellence Awards

Honor government and aided educational institutions that meet the following criteria: 

  • Minimum enrollment of 30 students
  • 100% pass rate in SSLC and PUC examinations

Award €25,000 to each qualifying institution as recognition of their commitment to educational excellence.

Educational Infrastructure Development

Establish, maintain, and expand educational institutions including

  • Schools, colleges, and polytechnics
  • Vocational training centers
  • Research institutions
  • Audio-visual education centers
  • Student hostels

This service offers both emergency and non-emergency support for women facing distress or violence. The helpline ensures that women have access to assistance at any time of day or night, providing immediate help in times of need.

Integrated Women and Child Development Scheme
Comprehensive Welfare Programs

This scheme is aimed at implementing comprehensive welfare programs for women and children. Its primary focus is to improve the nutritional and health status for:

    • Children below 6 years
    • Pregnant women
    • Lactating mothers

Services include:

  • Supplementary nutrition
